It’s hard not to notice that the world is rebalancing. New hubs of economic dynamism are emerging as old ones struggle to reignite their once roaring engines. But for both new and old, the fragility of this rebalancing world demands from us a better grasp of what lies ahead. The old compact doesn’t fit the 21st century any more and our blunt industrial age tools wont help us construct a new one. Biophysically, politically, economically and socially we need to build a new philosophy of prosperity that helps us flourish.

i-see global provides a look in on what is going on. We create thinking and projects for pioneers navigating their way around our rebalancing world, helping them map out their own philosophies of prosperity.

Brazilintel is a hub for exploring Brazil’s unique role on a rebalancing world. We create research, thinking and projects digging into the composition of the economy; the role of the new middle classes; the rise of creative, collaborative and social economies; the challenges of the shift to quality and wellbeing; the path towards a better stewardship of natural capital and more complete definition of sustainability in a Brazilian context.

Retail Reset is an action research project exploring new frontiers for retail. Through workshops, research, articles and the blog we are thinking about how to put retail back at the heart of our cities and a more human economy. In asking how retail can give us more, Retail Reset wants to find the ways to unlock a 21st century type of competition based around creativity, experiences, collaboration and learning.  It aims to answer some of the pernicious questions that float around retail and consumption  - in the new or the old world – to which we re yet to find the answers.
