It’s hard not to notice that the world is rebalancing. New hubs of economic dynamism are emerging as old ones struggle to reignite their once roaring engines. But for both new and old, the fragility of this rebalancing world demands from us a better grasp of what lies ahead. The old compact doesn’t fit the 21st century any more and our blunt industrial age tools wont help us construct a new one. Biophysically, politically, economically and socially we need to build a new philosophy of prosperity that helps us flourish.
